I’m an Irish painter living in Cork city, the rebel county. A scientist by day and an artist by night, I spend all my time investigating and solving problems and making discoveries.

Art is basically a constant investigation and exploration.

I am not tied to any subject matter - I just paint what I am interested in. I am really fascinated by the process of painting; the cycle of gathering information, thinking, doing, thinking some more, doing some more - all of which culminates in something beautiful. A cycle of thoughts and actions captured in a physical piece of art.
